What this course teaches: A positive safe solution for you to help train your dog to walk by your side without pulling.
- Does your dog pull?
- Have you tried everything?
- Almost at the stage of resigning yourself that pulling is the way things are, for you and your dog?
- Are you treating the inevitable pulling as a foregone conclusion?! Or perhaps you own a Springer Spaniel, ha ha!
We have collaborated with some of the best trainers in the world and put together a positive safe solution for you to help train your dog, keep it fun and prevent any unwanted problems such as injury, frustration, lead aggression, safety and sanity! The best way to get any dog to walk with you is to make something fun! Surely, this works for humans too? If you are starting with a puppy, you will want to look at the sheet called “leads and collars are fun”. This shows you how to introduce this equipment before training begins and will help you along your way. Please remember, this training will take time. Heelwork successfully trained, will usually mean that walking to heel means some kind of reinforcement or end goal. You are going to gradually increase this so that the dog always associates walking with you as fun. People that do not have time to train are only really failing themselves. Have you ever seen someone walking down the road, with a dog pulling them and the owner saying “heel” over and over again.. Membership to the heel work dog training course.
